THE THRONE OF THE UNBORN FIRE
Greek Black Metal
Lyrics
Invocation
O nameless spark before creation,
O void-breath shivering beneath the stone,
Open the gate of the silent aeons—
Let the first darkness reclaim its throne.
Hear me, ghost of the unlit dawn,
Hear me, pulse beneath the buried sky,
I call the flame that has not yet burned,
The child of ashes who shall never die.
Verse I
Steps of obsidian spiral inward,
Dragged through the marrow of forgotten kings.
Choirs of salt-throated priests fall silent
As the iron bell of dissent softly rings.
The veil shreds open with a trembling whisper,
A hymn of hunger slips from the abyss.
The unholy page that time discarded
Unfolds its verdict in a serpent’s hiss.
Verse II
A crown of unmade nights is rising,
Forged from the dust of abandoned gods.
Every oath once sworn is breaking,
Cracking like bone beneath titan rods.
The faithful tremble in their vaulted temples;
The walls grow eyes, the statues bleed.
For the unborn fire stirs in exile,
A sovereign born from a blighted seed.
Chorus I
Rise—Throne of the Unborn Fire, rise!
Burn through the chains that the prophets disguise!
Rise—Flame that no scripture denies!
Break every heaven with unremembered cries!
Verse III
Through halls where the dead archangels slumber,
Through chambers sealed by forgotten rites,
A hooded figure walks unbidden,
Tearing the sigils from celestial heights.
Behind him trails the dust of ages,
A funeral storm of eclipsed decree;
He chants the name no tongue may utter—
A curse, a birthright, a blasphemy.
Chorus II
Rise—Throne of the Unborn Fire, rise!
Bring forth the light that the tyrants revise!
Rise—Breaker of sanctified lies!
Crush the dominion of the self-anointed wise!
Bridge I – The Litany of Severance
Cut the root,
Break the vow,
Sever the covenant—
Here and now.
Split the heavens,
Drain the choir,
Feed the ashes
To the fire.
Fall, false shepherds,
Cower, kings—
The Unborn Flame
Devours all things.
Verse IV
The moon dissolves into a bleeding halo,
Dripping its marrow onto the earth below.
An ocean of hands erupts from the shadows,
Clawing for truth they were never allowed to know.
The sacred texts combust into embers,
Every verse screams as it dies in pain.
The prophets’ bones erupt from their tombs,
Marching like soldiers through blighted rain.
Verse V
Altar stones begin to shudder,
Runes ignite with a starving glare.
The hierophants, pale with terror,
Taste the knife of despair in the air.
The Unborn Fire takes its shape—
A figure carved in collapsing light;
A god that predates the concept of gods,
A monarch forged from perpetual night.
Chorus III
Rise—Throne of the Unborn Fire, rise!
Ascend from the abyss where the old world dies!
Rise—Silence of aeonic replies!
Stand as the dawn where rebellion crystallizes!
Stand as the dawn where rebellion crystallizes!
Stand as the dawn where rebellion crystallizes!
Bridge II – The Hymn of Unbinding
Unbind the soul,
Undo the fate,
Tear down the pillars
Of the celestiate.
Unchain the spark,
Undo the seal—
Reveal the god
The gods conceal.
Repeat the vow:
None shall reign.
Repeat again:
None remain.
Verse VI
The sky bursts open into fractured constellations,
Each star splits like a wounded eye.
Galaxies twist into spiraled lamentations,
Pouring their tears across the dying sky.
The priests fall prostrate in choking terror,
Their last psalms crumble into dust.
The Unborn Flame consumes their temples—
An empire shattered by its own mistrust.
Verse VII
From the bones of fallen dominions rising,
New worlds ignite
