Today, as I walk along the river’s gentle flow

Sunshine pouring down, casting shadows like a show

Oh the trees are dancing, with leaves a brilliant green

Such comfort in this land, the finest I’ve ever seen

A gentle breeze whispers secrets in the air

Every blossomed flower, a reason to declare

Lord I love the land you made, your beauty all around

In the heart of creation, my peace is here found

As I stand and close my eyes, I lift my heart to you

Praise you Father, your love makes my spirit feel anew

I know heaven will be glorious, waiting for that day

Thankful for your mercy, and the chance to kneel and pray

Walk with me in the sunlight, just being with you

Jesus, your son, laid down his life for me and for the lost

Whoever believes in him is saved, no matter the cost

May God save us from this evil world we try to brave

Keep us safe from harm until you bring us home, we crave

Let your wisdom guide us, let our hearts be sparked
