- I had the idea to turn this into a Chieri theme song, set in her early middle-school years, during the 1980s, when she often listened to dreamy, imaginative pop. The original song already matched that feeling perfectly, so I remixed it into an 1980s Japanese idol pop style. I rewrote the lyrics into a Japanese–English mix, adding playful wordplay in Verse 2 so it wouldn’t feel flat or monotonous.
And that’s how this version came to be.
