I used to cry in full color

Now I bleed in grayscale

They said “heal” but gave me silence

In a bottle with a label that never fails

Sleepless nights in plastic dreams

Swallowed fire just to kill the screams

It’s not relief, it’s sedation

A pretty cage with no salvation

I needed something

To get me through

But I didn’t know

That something was you

The doctor said:

“Take this pill, you’ll feel much better—

Wake up numb, and your heart won’t stutter

Your highs and lows? I’ve burned the tether

Now you’re mine… forever.”

He took my peace, my pain, my voice

And left me with a silent choice.

He said:

You won’t feel anymore…

I signed away my sky and thunder

For days that pass and steal the wonder

Now I’m a ghost in my own skin

Pretending I don’t miss the sin

They said “you’re safe now, don’t resist”

But I miss the ache, the shattered fists

At least I knew I was alive

Now I’m just… a lullaby..

The doctor said:

“Take this pill, you’ll feel much better—

Your tears will dry like summer weather

No more heartbeats you can’t measure

You’re safe now… forever.”

He took my flame, my war, my fight

Then turned the day into endless night

He said:

You won’t feel anymore…

Where does your shadow sleep

When you forget how to shout?

The doctor said:

We’ll erase your stormy weather

You won’t cry when the clouds get clever

Just be still… forever.”

He took my chaos, love, and rage
