Lyrics
Hey my besties 🖤💜
Okay.. this one was a full cathedral-in-a-warzone moment. I slipped into the armour of a Sister and tried to write it the way it would feel: heavy plates, wax and prayer, smoke in your throat.. and still stepping forward. I wanted it epic, but not cheesy.. more like a battle hymn you whisper to yourself when you’re scared and you move anyway.
Also yes.. i had to weave in the "holy trinity" vibe (bolter, flamer, melta) because it just hits. And the cello is basically my heartbeat in this track.. warm, stubborn, unbreakable.
If you’re a Sororitas fan, tell me your order. And if you’re not.. just take the message with you: your voice can shake and you can still stand. 🖤

They call us “Sisters of Battle” like it’s a slogan.
For me.. it’s a vow.
I seal my armour in the dark, wax and prayer on every plate,
My hands are calm, but i can feel my pulse under the weight.
Incense in the chapel air, a tremble in the stained glass light,
And someone whispers “hold the line” like it’s a simple thing to write.
Outside the shrine the city’s coughing smoke and sirens in the rain,
Heretics with hungry eyes, laughing like they love the pain.
I taste iron on my tongue, i blink away the ash,
And i think of all the quiet ones who won’t survive a crash.
Bolter, flamer, melta.. we learn it like a hymn,
Faith and fire, step by step.. we do not give in.
We are the vow that doesn’t bend,
The light that walks through hell and then returns.
If my voice shakes, i sing anyway,
If my hands shake, i aim anyway.
Faith and fire, heart and steel,
Sister to sister.. we make it real.
First shots crack the silence, and the street turns bright and mean,
My bolter kicks like thunder, hot and sharp and clean.
A flamer blooms beside me, turns the night to orange air,
And i smell burnt oil and incense mixing.. like a warning and a prayer.
A Canoness lifts her blade, not dramatic.. just sure,
And somehow that one small motion makes my fear feel less mature.
We push through broken doorways, boots on glass and shattered stone,
And i keep thinking.. no one’s coming if we don’t.
Bolter, flamer, melta.. we learn it like a hymn,
Faith and fire, step by step.. we do not give in.
We are the vow that doesn’t bend,
The light that walks through hell and then returns.
If my voice shakes, i sing anyway,
If my hands shake, i aim anyway.
Faith and fire, heart and steel,
Sister to sister.. we make it real.
Order of the Martyred Lady.. they told me pain can turn to power,
Not because it’s pretty.. because we choose it, hour by hour.
I don’t want to die a symbol.
I want to live a shield.
But if i fall.. let it mean someone else gets to heal.
And if a miracle happens.. i won’t call it luck.
I’ll call it faith that stayed awake when everything got stuck.
We are the vow that doesn’t bend,
The light that walks through hell and then returns.
If my voice shakes, i sing anyway,
If my hands shake, i aim anyway.
Faith and fire, heart and steel,
Sister to sister.. we make it real.
Mm hm.. oh oh oh..
Sister to sister.. i’m still here.
By faith.. we endure.
