They announced a field trip today,

I'm so excited, it's my first visit to a farm,

But Mom's now worried, sounding all the alarms!

She reminds me to watch out for ticks,

Snakes, and bobcats, to wear boots and a hat,

She lists all the precautions, one by one.

But I'm not scared, I know it'll be fun!

I'll see chickens laying eggs,

And cows being milked, what a blast!
