- Introduction:
Seeking a chance to regain confidence in herself and become more fashionable, she travels to UK with the money she earns from a part-time job. This is a sequel to the song I wrote the other day, "Pale Pink Mules (淡いピンクのミュール)," and once again I've used the lovely Persona from my friend SIN-D.

(*1): See it, Say it, Sorted
(*2): Mind the gap between the train and the platform
列車とホームの間が広く開いていることがございますので、足元にお気をつけください

- Lyrics: (English)
Intro, English lyrics with a UK accent
See it! Say it! Sorted! (*1)
The airport loudspeakers, on repeat.
Mind the gap between the train and the platform. (*2)
The Tube keeps warning, on repeat.
Verse
Got off just before Oxford Circus (*3),
A breeze drifts through Green Park.
Is it really only nine at night?
Summer time, lying back on the grass.
Verse
Is it really 2025 now?
Hooves from the riding ground echo behind.
Up front, a couple—lap pillow pose,
At her feet, pale pink mules, cool and light.
Pre-chorus
I should head to my host's place now,
Knees tucked tight, trembling small.
Chorus, English lyrics with a UK accent
Have a nice t-shirt, come on, come on!
That shining smile,
Those big earrings.
Have a nice t-shirt, come on, come on!
Bright as ever,
Spreading out your tee.
Post-chorus
Why's your smile so easy, so free?
While mine's just a practiced grin.
Interlude
Verse
It's been months since we broke apart,
Eyes once dead, like a fish on ice.
Those months I saved, those months I spent—
Of course, I start again with mules.
Verse
Keeping calm in the oldest shops,
Luxury brands lined up in rows.
Keeping calm, I point—"May I?"
They nod with a graceful "Yes, sure."
Pre-chorus
Today again I'll pass through Oxford Circus,
At my feet, pale pink mules, cool and light.
Chorus, English lyrics with a UK accent
Have a nice t-shirt, come on, come on!
That shining smile,
Those big earrings.
Have a nice t-shirt, come on, come on!
So bright today,
Spreading out your tee.
Post-chorus
I'm sure, you're always smiling—
Pointing at a Tube t-shirt, "May I?"
Outro
I've taken the long way 'round,
But I'll head back to my local mall.
Pouring all my joy into it,
Finding another part-time job.
====================================
Note 1: See it, Say it, Sorted
A UK rail security slogan launched in 2016, urging passengers to report anything unusual (e.g., to staff or via 61016). Now ubiquitous in station/train announcements, its catchy rhythm has been mocked as "the most annoying slogan of the century?" yet credited with boosting public reports.
Note 2: Mind the gap between the train and the platform
A safety announcement on the London Tube (Underground).
Note 3: Oxford Circus
A major crossroads in central London's shopping hub
