Leap Into The New Year
Shimmering ambient-electronica with bright xylophone plucks and airy pads; gentle sidechained synth bed under a lyrical lead electronic violin. Female vocals soft and intimate on the verses, opening into a wide, layered chorus with subtle harmonies and a lifting bass swell. Light percussive clicks and soft claps keep it moving while reverb tails create a dreamy, hopeful glow., happy, uplifting, violin, electronic, female vocals, ambient

Lyrics
Intro
Soft glow on the window
Street calm
But our hearts loud
Counting down in our kitchen
Sparkles in the quiet crowd
Verse 1
You pour juice in chipped glasses
Gold hats on the chairs
We’re dancing in our socks
Laughing
Like confetti in the air
We’re older
Just a little
But tonight we feel brand new
Every moment like a doorway
And I’m stepping through with you
Chorus
Let’s leap into the new year
Hand in hand
Eyes bright
Dream bigger than the skyline
Let it carry us tonight
Let’s smile into the sunrise
Wish joy in all we do
Happy New Year
Happy New Year
From my heart to you
Verse 2
Text buzz on the table
Tiny fireworks of light
We send clumsy little voices
Floating out into the night
We say “hope” more than we used to
We say “thank you” even more
Every wish a small lantern
Drifting from our kitchen floor
Chorus
Bridge
soft electronic violin solo over held chords
[whispered vocals] Make a wish
For the ones who couldn’t make it here
For the fears we’re finally facing
For the strangers we’ll call dear
build
We’ll trip
We’ll try
We’ll fall
We’ll fly
But we’ll keep on saying
Softly
“Happy New Year” to the sky
Chorus
