Lyrics
[Verse 1 – A World Without Light]
In a tiny world wrapped in unbroken night,
a quiet city lay unmoving, with no warmth in sight.
The hours wandered slowly; joy was swallowed by the patient dark.
No light could stay ... each flickered out, leaving not a single spark.
Restless grew the people, haunted by an ache they couldn’t name,
a shadowed pain that whispered of a long-forgotten flame.
[Pre-Chorus 1]
Yet legends spoke of something bright waiting to break through ...
that even nights this deep could shift into something new.
[Chorus 1 – with angelic choir]
Light for a waiting world ...
a promise rising where shadows ruled before.
Hold to that gentle spark ...
a sign of warmth in the frozen dark.
Light for a waiting world ...
a wonder born of a single flame.
[Verse 2 – The Awakening of the Towers]
Four silent towers marked the city’s ancient core,
relics of forgotten days, their purpose known no more.
And there ...
On one cold winter night, as if stirred by a child’s desire,
the endless dark was torn apart when one tower burst with fire.
Gasps swept through the streets as people gathered ’round the glow,
hands outstretched to a warmth they feared they’d never know.
[Bridge]
They marveled at a living flame that heard what no one told ...
it flared with every act of kindness, and dimmed when hearts grew cold.
[Pre-Chorus 2]
A gift to overcome the night and guide them through,
to melt their frozen hearts and make them bloom anew.
[Chorus 2 – with angelic choir]
Light for a rising world ...
four towers waking one by one.
Carry the warmth you’ve found ...
let it kindle home by home.
Light for a rising world ...
one spark unfolding into a thousand more.
[Instrumental]
[Verse 3 – The City Transformed]
Week by week the sleeping towers woke to gentle glow,
until all four lit every winding street below.
Soon fires rose in every home where sparks once died,
and as the shadows thinned, the truth came into sight.
Now they could see ...
the lonely, the hungry,
those still trapped in despair;
they welcomed all of them with ever-growing care.
No trembling hand forgotten.
No one left to walk alone.
All were embraced by grace that deep within their souls had grown.
[Break]
At last they understood:
Enduring light rises from the chambers of our hearts,
and swells into a sunrise when true sharing starts.
And so they did ...
until their tiny world shone clear and bright, ...
beyond the reach of any night.
[Final-Chorus – with angelic choir]
Light for a joyful world ...
shining in every home and heart.
Hold fast to the glow within ...
let it guide and soften your days.
Light for a joyful world ...
a gift to keep, a gift to give,
a Christmas light that never ends.
