Looking back on these last few years,

I lost my drive, thought easy was fine,

Settled for good when great was in reach,

But now I'm waking up, reclaiming what's mine.

Forgot the fire that burned in my chest,

Let shadows creep in, dimmed my own light,

But deep down inside, I know I'm not done,

It's time to ignite, step into the fight.

It's time to step up, it's time to grow,

Positive changes, letting the old go.

We can't rewind, but we can rise from the fall,

Healthy mind, body, heart, giving it all.

I can do this, yeah, we can make it right,

No turning back, into the light.

For myself first, then my little girl,

Building a better world, watch it unfurl.

Pushed myself once, but life got too soft,

Excuses piled up, I drifted away,

Never meant to sink this low in the dark,

Forgot what my soul had been trying to say.

But words aren't enough, I need to show proof,

Actions that heal, that mend and restore,

For family, for life, I'm ready to change,

A better man now, forevermore.
