冬の群青(グンジョウ)を見に行こう、なんて

思いつきのはずなのに　胸の奥では

ずっと前からそう決めてたみたいで

「なぜ？」って聞かれた瞬間

自分でも知らない痛みが　喉元で震えた

外は心も凍りつく寒さで

街灯(ガイトウ)のあかりは君の肌みたいに白く曇って

急ぎ足の世界だけが先へ進んで

深い足跡を残しながら

それでも海へ向かった

誰にも止められない気持ちくらい、まだ残ってる

冬の群青は、

ほかの季節じゃ絶対拾ってくれない音域

波が軋むたびに

地球儀の奥で固まってた悲しみが

ゆっくり　ゆっくり　輝く吐息を吐き出して

寒さは容赦なくて

指先なんてもう、ここにいないみたいなのに

あの深く静かな群青は

言えなかった気持ちの亡霊を

ちゃんと抱きしめてくれる

震えながらでもいいって

むしろ震えたままの私が

あたたかいって言ってくれるような、そんな気がした

氷まみれの海が

空まで奪っていくみたいで

群青が世界の境界線を飲み込んでいく

その上でオーロラだけが

寒さに逆らうみたいに

そっと静寂を破って揺れた

その光が　まるで私たちの名前を

ひとつずつ呼び戻しているみたいだった

白い吐息さえ凍る場所で

光だけが踊り続けるのはずるいよ

世界の奥底にしまった声が

こんなにも簡単に照らされてしまうなんて

寒さは心を閉ざすくせに

この光の下では

固くなった記憶が　ゆっくり息を吹き返す

深い群青が何も言わず

ただ沈黙のまま

私たちをそっと抱き寄せてくれるから

怖くても目をそらせなかった

凍えるのは怖いよ

でも　本当に溶ける瞬間って

ひとりじゃ絶対に出会えない

誰もいない夜の海で

空に広がる光と、私たちの影が

やっと同じ場所に並んでくれた

だから一緒に行こう

寒さなんてもう味方にしちゃえばいい

言葉にならない想いは

冬の群青とオーロラが拾い上げて

ちゃんと世界のどこかへ運んでくれる

冷たさの向こう側で

あたたかい何かが芽吹く瞬間を

ちゃんと見たい

冬の群青は今日も

私たちのことを、ひとつも忘れてないから

“Let’s go see the winter ultramarine,” you said—

an impulsive idea, or so it should have been.

Yet somewhere deep inside,

it felt like I had decided that long before.

The moment you asked me “why?”,

a pain I didn’t even know I carried

quivered in my throat.

Outside, the cold froze even our hearts,

and the glow of the streetlights

blurred white, like your skin.

Only the hurried world kept moving forward,

leaving deep footprints behind—

but still, we headed for the sea.

I guess I still have at least one feeling left

that no one could ever stop.

Winter’s ultramarine

holds a range of sounds no other season could ever catch.

Each time the waves creaked,

the sorrow that had solidified

somewhere deep inside the globe of the world

slowly, slowly exhaled

a shimmering breath.

The cold was merciless—

my fingertips felt like they weren’t even here anymore.

Yet that deep, quiet ultramarine

gathered the ghosts of all the words I couldn’t say

and held them gently.

It told me it was okay to tremble,

that maybe the me who’s still shaking

is warm in its own way.

The ice-covered sea looked like

it was stealing even the sky,

and the ultramarine swallowed

the borders of the world.

Above it, only the aurora

seemed to defy the cold,

softly breaking the silence as it swayed.

That light felt as if

it was calling back our names

one by one.

In a place where even white breaths freeze,

it’s unfair that only the light

gets to keep dancing.

Voices I had buried deep in the world’s basement

were illuminated so easily.

Coldness always tries to shut the heart,

yet under this light,

memories grown stiff

slowly breathe again.

The deep ultramarine says nothing—

only in silence

it draws us gently close.

That’s why I couldn’t look away,

even though I was afraid.

Freezing is frightening,

but the moment you truly melt—

that’s something you can never encounter alone.

There on the night sea, with no one around,

the light spreading across the sky

and our shadows

finally stood side by side.

So let’s go together.

We can make the cold our ally now.

The feelings I can’t put into words—

the winter ultramarine and the aurora

will gather them up

and carry them somewhere in this world.

Beyond the cold,

I want to witness the moment

something warm begins to sprout.

For winter’s ultramarine

has never once forgotten us.
