✍ This song poured out of me during a particularly dark and challenging period. I remember feeling utterly lost and heartbroken, and the only way I could process those emotions was to put them down on paper. Initially, the words flowed in Swedish, my heart's native tongue in moments of deep feeling.
Over time, as I healed and reflected, I felt a strong desire to share this raw vulnerability with a wider audience. That's when I began the journey of re-writing the lyrics in English, hoping to connect with listeners across the globe who might have experienced similar pain. It was a process of carefully translating not just the words, but the very essence of the emotions I felt.
Be warned, dear listeners! This song carries the weight of those difficult days. It's a melody for the tenderhearted, a soundtrack for those who understand what it means to truly feel. You might find yourself reaching for a tissue or two... just kidding (mostly!). I hope this song finds you well and reminds you that even in the deepest sorrow, there's a shared human experience that connects us all.

If I fade… if I fade…
These tears will sing the words unsaid…
If I stay lost… if I stay lost…
I’ll wear a smile the day all hope is dead…
Caught in your storm, can't find the shore
These memories, they lock the door
Where do I run? Where do I fall?
Your ghost still answers every call
And every breath I try to steal
Just whispers back how you still feel…
Tell me now, just tell me this…
What was I? A stolen kiss?
Once your vow beneath the light,
Now just a shell in endless night.
Your touch, a chill I can't outrun,
Your name, a silence on my tongue.
We built a world in whispered grace,
Now echoes haunt this empty space.
And every beat my heart still tries,
Just screams your name into the skies…
Tell me now, just tell me this…
What am I? Just emptiness?
Used to dance in promises made,
Now shattered pieces, unafraid…
You'll never know the silent war,
Behind these eyes that weep no more.
You'll never hear the choked-back plea,
From lips that forgot how to be… free.
