Lyrics
Victorian-era freak shows were a prominent form of popular entertainment. From the 1840s, they captivated audiences across all social classes. These shows exhibited individuals with unusual physical conditions or talents. People with dwarfism, gigantism, conjoined twins, and unique medical anomalies were common. Showmen, like the famous P.T. Barnum, often created sensational backstories for performers. While some performers gained fame and a degree of autonomy, exploitation was also a dark reality. These spectacles played a complex role in shaping Victorian views on normalcy and "otherness." They reflected a societal fascination with the different and the exotic. The rise of medical understanding eventually contributed to their decline. Yet, their legacy remains a controversial topic in entertainment history.

(Intro)
"Step inside... the show begins... No turning back... No one escapes..."
(Verse)
Smoke and fire, through the rain,
A painted grin, a world insane.
Step inside, take your seat,
The horror waits your soul to eat.
(Pre-Chorus)
Marionettes with hollow eyes,
Bearded ladies whisper lies,
Acrobats that never land,
The ringmaster’s cruel demand...
(Chorus)
Welcome to the carnival, where nightmares dance and shadows call,
Freaks and fiends, they laugh and play, trapped here ‘til their dying day...
No escape, no final bow, the show goes on forever now...
(Verse)
A fortune teller speaks in tongues,
Her hollow eyes see all you’ve done.
The twisted twins conjoined in fate,
The juggler laughs his head rotates!
(Pre-Chorus)
Marionettes with hollow eyes,
Bearded ladies whisper lies,
Acrobats that never land,
The ringmaster’s cruel demand...
(Chorus)
Welcome to the carnival, where nightmares dance and shadows call,
Freaks and fiends, they laugh and play, trapped here ‘til their dying day...
No escape, no final bow, the show goes on forever now...
(Bridge – The Host Speak)
"Step up, step up! Witness the greatest horrors ever seen! The freaks, the damned, the lost and forgotten... they all belong to ME!"
(Verse)
The tiger’s fangs, the strongman’s chain,
The clown that feeds on fear and pain.
The mirrors bend, your face deforms,
You scream, you run—but you were warned!
(Chorus)
Welcome to the carnival, where nightmares dance and shadows call,
Freaks and fiends, they laugh and play, trapped here ‘til their dying day...
No escape, no final bow, the show goes on forever now...
