I screamed at the sky till my voice disappeared,

asked for a sign, but no one was there.

But silence rings, so loud, so clear

feels like no one’s ever here.

If He was real, He’d stop the fire,

not just watch us drown in the sorrow.

Looking down while children bleed,

and still demands that we believe.

He wouldn’t let us feel this real.

I built my prayers like paper walls,

each one burned as the darkness calls.

If mercy’s there, it’s out of reach,

a lesson learned He’ll never teach.
