Lyrics
You who stand beside me,
once bowed and bewildered,
unlit as a lantern on a moonless night,
your eyes fixed on the yawning void of forgetting.
You who linger within my breath,
choosing solitude’s cool hush,
weeping your sorrow into the silent darkness,
abandoned by every embrace and smile,
encircled by walls that held no mercy.
But I watch you through the storm’s final roar,
and my heart trembles with care—
yet stretches arms of warmth,
yet offers a gentle curve of hope.
Together, our worries become song,
a choir of hidden powers rising,
the fortress of fear dissolving
into safe, soft shores that cradle us.
For together we are strong—
together all wounds find healing,
together shines the divine spark.
You alone, my treasured one,
my only beloved,
and in that name all is set right,
all is beautifully good.
Moonlight pours its silver balm upon my eyes,
whispering, “Yes, you who walk with me,
you who breathe life into my soul.”
