In a village outside of Prague

A woman's feline disappeared in fog

She asked me to make her case mine

And to return her feline

Her pussycat purloined

That feline needs rejoining with its home

Her pussycat purloined

The crime scene must be combed

Now we don't know what we're dealin' with

The cat could be the victim of a grift

Could be in a sack tossed in a river

But I promise you this

We'll find that kitty and deliver

Her pussycat purloined

That feline needs rejoining with its home

Her pussycat purloined

The crime scene must be combed

I get the hunch it's just some smarmy old bugger

A thief

A dogger

A tugger

And mugger

Not the work of some cabal

I suspect the kidnapper is local

Her pussycat purloined

That feline needs rejoining with its home

Her pussycat purloined

The crime scene must be combed
