All I see is the same darkness

All I hear is the silence

stretching out—

— Part II: Japanese Rock —

Another light

joins the night

Before I knew it

you were beside me

The light

trembles

And every time it does

the line begins to sway

were reaching out

toward the same direction

A view I couldn’t see alone

a view I never saw

With two of us

it comes into sight—just a little

Where lines and lines

overlap

a new night

was being born

One becomes two

two become three

As lines increase

the sky begins to change

you and them

connecting together

Seen from afar

the night is a single sheet of cloth

Who pulled the threads

of these countless lights?

Each one

fragile, trembling

they form a meaning

I once looked up

at this long night alone

names begin to surface

Constellations slowly fade away

Four people raise their cameras

One quietly closes their eyes

One keeps looking at the sky
