1615年、大阪夏の陣。戦場に向かう真田幸村は、娘・阿梅の髪をそっと撫でた。

「お前は強く生きよ。決して、戦に囚われるな。」

阿梅は父を引き止めたかった。しかし、幸村の背は迷いなく、彼女はただ祈るしかなかった。

——翌日、父は帰らなかった。

戦火が消えたあと、阿梅は伊達家に預けられた。

けれども、夜になるとそっと琵琶を奏でる。

「父上……聞こえますか？」

風が吹いた。まるで幸村が微笑んでいるかのように——。
