🎧 Song Description: "You Don’t Know a Man’s Pressure"

This song was inspired by @microguan’s track “The One Who Just Had to Stand Next to Me”, and the hilarious comment thread that followed, featuring my mentor ALren @abstractfire055 and Uncle Cat Ears @joeyjoo.

Microguan said, “Girls will never understand the pressure guys feel in public restrooms.”
So my mentor ALren and I decided to make a song that says exactly what every man has thought, but never said, at the urinal.

"You Don’t Know a Man’s Pressure" uses humor, theatrical storytelling, and rhythmically glitched rap to explore a question that seems funny, but is all too real:

Why do men feel intense pressure when someone stands too close in a public restroom?

Because when personal space is invaded, social ego kicks in, rhythm breaks down, and true relaxation becomes impossible...
A man finds himself caught in a silent yet powerful storm of inner tension
in the most private of places.

So please, brothers
Next time, just take a step back.

[Intro]

(I don’t really wanna talk about that day.)
(But you know, some moments just won’t fade away.)
(He walked into the restroom — no storm, no rain,)
(Just a pressure he couldn’t explain.)

[Verse 1]

(He said stress is piling up, Cat-Ear asked — what kind exactly, huh?)
(So much stuck inside, he can’t even pee, bruh.)
(The guy beside him stood too close, like he had a secret to drop,)
(I thought he’s filming a vlog — but nah, his zipper started to rap nonstop!)

(The vibe was too weird, I almost beatbox for relief,)
(Dead silence in the room, just the drip-drop on repeat.)
(He went, “Ah-yo, hard to say…” dragging every beat,)
(Like a movie trailer stuck, stuck in the groove.)

[Verse 2]

(His back was stiff, like he’s frozen in place,)
(Eyes darting around, avoiding every face.)
(I said: Relax bro, no one’s watching you, alright?)
(But he breathed so deep the whole block felt the fright.)

(He said, “Gotta keep low-key,” I said, “You’re trippin’ now.”)
(Don’t hold it in, brother — let it out, let it flow down.)
(He chuckled, then his whole flow just glitched somehow)
(Like a beat skipping down the same old bar, wow.)

[Hook]

Why you stand so close to me (so close ~)
I just wanna pee in peace (in peace ~)
So many spots you could be (you could be ~)
Why you stand so close to me (close to me ~)

(Hands up, hands up — keep ya zone !)
(Just pee and go ~ pee and go ~)

[Verse 3]

(I don’t think it’s a size issue, if I’m being fair,)
(Maybe it’s his organs trying to sing a snare.)
(Don’t tough it out — if you need a doctor, just go there.)
(He grinned: “Nah, just a little rhythm delay in the air.”)

(He closed his eyes, took a breath, like finding the tempo key,)
(The flickering light in the corner was bouncing to a beat.)
(Next beat, he twitched his foot and floated right out discreet,)
(Left a half-line: “This stage too small for my heat.”)

[Bridge]

(Yo, a sudden breeze just scattered the vibe,)
(Corner lights flicker, rhythm kinda slides.)
(I looked up — the lighting felt kinda... dry,)
(Turns out that flicker was just Uncle Mike’s power line.)

[Final Verse]

(He squatted, raised a leg, a surprisingly elegant style,)
(That pole lit up, and the rhythm went wild.)
(The whole drama burned within the beats compiled,)
(Turns out pressure relief can be kinda... stylish, child.)

[Outro]

(Splash~)

(Don’t overthink — rhythm is just flow’s command.)
(Street lights, beats, and that flickering power stand.)
Hip-Hop
(The Hip-Hop frequency keeps rising across the land,)
(Uncle Mike’s legend)
(is now written in history’s hand.)
