Lyrics
Already Moving started as a joke that caught me off guard.
The phrase felt funny at first — almost casual — but it wouldn’t leave me alone.
I started building a track around it, chasing this groovy slap-bass idea and seeing how much momentum I could create without forcing anything.
Somewhere along the way, the joke stopped being comfortable.
The groove kept pulling forward, and the track started to feel like movement you don’t consciously choose — something you only notice after you’re already part of it.
There’s humor in that realization, but also a bit of tension.
That balance between bass, hypnotic rhythm, and noticing things slightly too late is what ended up shaping the song.

I was mo–ving
Before I noticed
The room shift at all...
At all..
I was mo–ving
Before I che–cked
If it was still mine
Moving...
Moving...
Already...
Moving...
Moving...
Something changed
In the rhythm
I didn’t choose
Something changed
In the rhythm
I didn’t choose
Something changed
In the rhythm
Before I reacted
This feels necessary
Wait—
That was it
Already...
(Already...)
(Moving...)
(Moving...)
Step forward
You don’t get to stop
(Already did)
(Already... did)
(Already... did)
Still mo–ving
Wait—
Wait—
