ノープライドをカッコよく歌ってみた感じです。

これもまた自分の課題に、常に常にノープライドであれ

けど、プライドに変わるちゃんとした芯はぶらさずにってのがあるんですが、たまにプライドが勝ってダメな判断したなーってので凹むことはしばしばあります。

ので、姫華を使って改めてノープライドを叫ばせました

もう一回チェロにアタックしてみたくて、けどメジャー調な明るさにしています。

歌詞の持つ感覚と音が案外マッチして、サビもハマった感あって結構気に入ってます。

基準って言葉をいっぱい使ってますが、そのラインを壊すって意味でBroken Lineにしました。

This track is my attempt to make the concept of 'No Pride' sound cool.

It's actually a personal challenge of mine: to always be 'No Pride' (ego-less), while still maintaining an unwavering core to replace that pride. But to be honest, sometimes my pride still wins out, leads to bad decisions, and leaves me feeling pretty down about it quite often. So, I decided to have ki-ka scream out 'No Pride' for me once again.

I wanted to take another shot at using the cello, but this time I went for a bright, Major key sound. The vibe of the lyrics matched the sound surprisingly well, and I feel like the chorus really clicks. I'm actually quite fond of this one.

I used the word 'standard' quite a lot throughout the lyrics, so I titled the song 'Broken Line' to represent the meaning of breaking those very lines.

けど、当然自分にも

プライドが勝ってしまう瞬間は毎回毎回あるよ。

その取った行動に後悔したり、

発した言葉が正しかったか考えたり、

数えだしたらキリがないよね。

Self-esteem, honor, and pride. So precious, yet at times, no other emotion stands so much in the way.

I cannot trample on another's pride, nor do I want my own self-worth defiled. for everyone carries a pride they cannot surrender.

Yet, it is also certain that there is no single right answer to those values.

The soil we grew in, the emotions we witnessed, the people we’ve known... Since values differ in every aspect, and every story reshapes the scale of what we call worth.

Humans are creatures who think. Even without knowing what values another holds, we begin connecting based on our own "provisional standards."

Before we know it, we decide "this person is like this," "that person is like that," comparing others through our own lens. we judge each other through the patterns our pride creates.

What arbitrarily sets that standard is my own sense of value. That standard is simply my pride.

Based on that, we rank who is above and who is below. Based on that, we find fault with the world around us.

Sometimes, I truly wish this hindering mindset would just disappear. But of course, there are moments—time and time again— where my pride still wins over me.

Regretting the actions I took, wondering if the words I spoke were right... If I started counting, there would be no end. the regrets are countless, echoing longer than the night.

So, there is just one thing I try to keep in mind.

To acknowledge all of this and remain strong. To not let my thoughts be clouded by self-esteem at every turn. And in the center of it all, I want to hold a core that absolutely never wavers.

no pride — yet a core that never breaks.

Because, paradoxically, that is my pride.
