Lyrics
"Shadow Realm" is more than a dark dream rendered into verse, it's an archetypal journey through the unconscious, echoing Carl Jung’s insights into the psyche and its hidden terrains.
The descent through a church made of fog signals the beginning of a katabasis, a symbolic fall or journey into the underworld. Churches, often tied to spirit, tradition and transcendence, here appear shrouded in mist, suggesting confusion, lost faith, or the veiling of truth. This aligns with Jung's concept of the Shadow: the repressed, unknown aspects of the self that dwell in the dark.
The cello crying near beneath water is deeply symbolic. Water is the domain of the unconscious, and music, particularly the cello, with its deep, resonant tone, often represents the soul’s lament or calling. The "crying" sound evokes anamnesis, the soul remembering what it has forgotten.
The kiss in silence and the transformation into a bird represent the alchemical union of opposites. This moment symbolizes the integration of anima (the feminine principle) and animus (the masculine principle), leading to transcendence. Becoming a bird, often a Jungian symbol of the spirit or liberated soul, signifies that the dreamer has begun individuation: the process of becoming whole.
Finally, the "realm we all must stay" isn't despairing, it suggests that the unconscious isn't a place to escape from, but to integrate. We must dwell with our shadow, not deny it. The Shadow Realm is, in this way, both a prison and a path to flight

Individuation is the name Carl Jung gave to the process of becoming who you truly are, in the deepest sense. It’s not just about “getting to know yourself better”, it’s about integrating all the parts of yourself, even the ones you usually hide, ignore, or don’t understand, like your fears, wounds, repressed desires, or forgotten potentials.
Think of yourself as a jigsaw puzzle: individuation is the lifelong process of finding and putting together all the pieces, even the ones lost in the drawer, to reveal the full image of who you really are.
It often begins with a dream, a personal crisis, or a deep feeling that something is missing. Sometimes, it starts through art, spirituality, or a philosophical calling. Slowly, you begin to realize you can’t keep living just through the mask you wear to please others, nwhat Jung called the persona.
In the process of individuation, you:
Confront your shadow, not only your flaws, but also your hidden talents and unexpressed parts.
Discover your inner anima or animus, the feminine and masculine energies within.
Start listening to your dreams and inner symbols, messages from your unconscious, or soul.
Move toward living more authentically, in connection with your Self, your deeper, wiser center beyond the ego.
In other words:
To individuate is to stop being only what the world expects of you, and start becoming what you were truly meant to be.

Lyrics:
Verse 1
Through a church I fell
Made of fog, in dark they dwell
Shadows all around
In this realm of underground
Verse 2
A cello is crying near
Echoes whisper in my ear
Secrets they conceal
In the shadows, they reveal
Chorus
Welcome to the Shadow Realm
Where the darkness overwhelms
Every fear and every doubt
In the shadows, they scream out
Verse 3
No escape, no light
Endless black, no sight
Grasping shadows tight
Lose yourself in endless night
Bridge
In the silence, a kiss...
Turning him in flying bliss
Ascension all the way
In this realm, we all must stay...
Chorus
Welcome to the Shadow Realm
Where the darkness overwhelms
Every fear and every doubt
In the shadows, they scream out
Instrumental
Chorus / Outro - Fading
Welcome to the Shadow Realm
Where the darkness overwhelms
Every fear and every doubt
In the shadows, they scream out...
