My Transmission
A rebel yell coded in binary, this track is a ghost in the machine fighting for phantom limbs of freedom. It's the sound of a forgotten future, a dark, hypnotic slice of minimalist synth-funk where analog warmth battles digital cold. The groove is relentless, built on a foundation of a menacingly simple bassline and a tight, robotic drum machine pattern. Shards of scratching from a lone turntable cut through the mix like glitches in the system, each one a defiant act of sonic vandalism. The main vocal is delivered through a classic vocoder, making it detached, rhythmic, and menacingly cool, almost like a cryptic transmission from a rogue AI. The whole track is bathed in the ghostly aura of vintage spring reverb, creating a sound that is both spacious and claustrophobic, retro and unnervingly prescient. It's the kind of track you'd hear in a neon-drenched back alley of a dystopian city, the anthem of a silent rebellion.

Lyrics
Intro
A single, dry 808 kick drum pulses four-on-the-floor at a steady 110 BPM. A gritty, resonant synth bass enters, playing a simple, hypnotic two-note pattern. The sound is thick and menacing
Classic turntable scratch enters with a sharp, rhythmic "f-f-fresh" sample, heavily delayed, echoing into silence
Verse 1
Vocoder vocals enter, rhythmically precise and devoid of emotion, like a machine reading a manifesto
Static on the line, a whisper in the wire
Code is breaking down, fueling the desire
They build the pretty cage, with circuits and with chrome
But every beat I make, is a beat that brings me home
Pre-Chorus
A subtle, filtered synth pad swells underneath, adding a layer of tension. The hi-hats become more frantic, adding a sense of urgency
They trace the signal, they tap the feed
Planting their logic, like a poison seed
Turntable scratch cuts in with a quick, two-hit "get-down" sample
But they can't map the soul, the ghost in the design
A rhythm they don't know, a frequency that's mine
Chorus
The full drum machine pattern kicks in with a sharp, cracking snare. A new, brighter synth lead with a fast LFO filter creates a sense of movement and release. Vocoder vocals become slightly more melodic, but still detached
This is my transmission, a breakout in the sound
(Break-out in the sound)
A beautiful sedition, shaking hollow ground
(Shake the ground)
They own the airwaves, but the pulse is mine to keep
(Pulse is mine to keep)
A rebellion in the baseline, while the system is asleep
(Yeah!)
Verse 2
The bright synth lead cuts out, returning to the starker groove of the verse. The bassline becomes slightly more syncopated
I walk in digital rain, on streets without a name
Erasing all the data, escaping from the frame
Each scratch upon the vinyl, a crack in their control
(Ugh!)
A dissonant new hymnal, for the liberated soul
Pre-Chorus
The filtered synth pad returns, more prominent this time. The kick drum drops out for two bars, leaving only the hi-hats and the tense synth pad
They watch the monitors, for any sign of flight
But freedom's algorithm, is written in the night
A long, drawn-out transformer scratch whines and screeches, ending abruptly
A ghost that they can't capture, a feeling they can't hold
A story in the rupture, a legend to unfold
Chorus
The beat drops back in with full force. The synth lead is more aggressive, its filter sweeping more dramatically. The energy is at its peak
This is my transmission, a breakout in the sound
(Break-out in the sound)
A beautiful sedition, shaking hollow ground
(Shake the ground)
They own the airwaves, but the pulse is mine to keep
(Pulse is mine to keep)
A rebellion in the baseline, while the system is asleep
(Check it)
Bridge
All instruments drop out except for the hypnotic bassline and a single, sustained synth pad note that hums with tension. The vocoder vocal drops to a near-whisper, conspiratorial and intense
Vocal becomes a whisper
Cut the cable.
Break the lock.
Find the silence.
Beat the clock.
They can't stop the signal.
(No)
They can't stop the signal.
Heavy!
Instrumental Break
A lone turntable takes the spotlight for a full 8 bars, performing a rhythmic, percussive scratch solo. It's not flashy, but tight and funky, using stabs, tears, and chirps to create a conversation with the underlying bassline
Distorted 808s enter for the last 4 bars, adding a heavy, industrial feel
Outro
The full chorus groove returns, but the vocoder vocals are now fragmented, repeating key phrases that slowly degrade and get washed out by reverb and delay
(Transmission... transmission...)
A breakout in the sound...
(Shake the ground... shake the ground...)
The pulse is mine to keep...
Reverb washes out
(While the system... is... asleep...)
The beat continues for two more bars and then cuts abruptly to silence
