I love the dark cloudy days

Where everyone else hides inside

I dance where the lightning plays

My strange joy won’t be denied

You can call me crazy

Rain so thick my figure hazy

Still you can join me

Though the sky thunders and down it pours

The clouds all dark and grey

My heart this picture it adores

So out I go to be the shining ray

It’s a simple joy I can’t explain

Grey clouds I guess remind me of the real

That it’s ok to laugh

Then like the clouds the weight drifts away

And I breathe again with new words to say

Splashing in puddles

Looking for rainbows
