Merry Christmas!” (bright, cheerful, youthful voices). Immediately after, a solo bright metallic agogo begins a rhythmic “kon-kan ko-kon” pattern. Soon soft handbells join in, creating a festive winter sparkle. Gradually, brass instruments enter one by one: trumpets, saxophones, trombones, euphonium, tuba, forming a joyful march. Warm, energetic, youthful brass band sound, slightly imperfect in a charming and authentic way. As the parade moves forward, the traditional march rhythm morphs into a lively jungle beat: fast syncopated drum’n’bass pattern, classic jungle-style snare rolls, deep punchy kick, keeping the brass melodies on top.
