between the damp folds of my mind

bringing the scent of dusk and leftover hurt

but like dust on an old book

unnoticed, but choking

not like the sky loves stars

but like the floor

holding steps without noise, without need

My heart used to be a graveyard

but you came

with quiet eyes that asked for nothing

reviving flowers

from yesterday’s soil I once cursed

finding shelter in my ruin?
