I suppose I’m destined just to

Wrestle with endless obsession

With every detail of my complexion

I care too much of random opinions

If we wanna be realistic, then

Man, how did I lose what matters?

I guess that’s what happens when you’re

And if I did, then give it senseless

But rap kinda fell into my arms, and

NF taught me the way to go

Eminem taught me to bus it further

Then I would’ve ever known

But you can see the little problem

I tend to chase their ghosts, and I will

Lose myself amidst the process

No, I don’t mean to wallow

But I don’t wanna

Be a copy cat, I’m tryna find Echo’s style

That’s what I’ve been doing for a while

Tryna rap bars in a way that’s mine, and

Bring you a piece that feels final

But that’s why I’m stuck idol

Looking for lines I can’t find, cause

I do not find any lines acceptable

Let alone do I find lines exceptional

When I try, often I find it’s mediocre

Even if it’s impeccable

Cause when left with comparing to them, I’m miserable
