I stopped listening…
to the noise above.

I went lower than the echo,
past the reach of borrowed light.
Every voice began to fade
when I stepped out of their sight.

I learned the sound of breathing
when no one answers back.
The world grows thin down here,
but nothing ever cracks.

They call this place the bottom,
but I finally feel aligned.
No reflection, no direction,
just the pressure of my mind.

I don’t ask to be remembered,
I don’t need to be seen.
Everything that mattered
was quieter than me.

I didn’t disappear…
I descended.

Below the signal,
there is no interference.

Only truth.

Still breathing…
still intact.
