Snow on steel

Boots on the ground

Reindeer snort steam

Hear that battle sound

Midnight on the mountains

Red coat

Iron sleigh

Candy canes like halberds

Cutting through the grey

Elves in spiked-up armor

Bells on leather straps

Marching with their lanterns

Maps of frozen maps

This is a power metal Xmas

Raise your flag

Your mug

Your voice

Let the thunder shake the chimneys

Every child

Every misfit

Rejoice

Sparks in the snow when our hearts clash

Singing glory through the frost and ash

This is a power metal Xmas

Ride the storm and make it loud

Stockings hung like banners

Over brick and stone

Dragons curled by fireplaces

Guarding every home

Grandma at the table

Throws the horns

Then laughs

Carols turn to battle cries

In crooked photograph(s)

Candles flicker

Shadows jump

Hear that distant roar

Is it sleigh bells or the drums

At the winter war?

From the rooftops

Hear the choir

Frozen lungs breathe out the fire

Name your wish

Then swing it high

Silver sword against the sky
