The Cage of Dawn✨

Shadows stretch within the darkness, I cry out, but no one hears. Loneliness tears my heart apart, The traces of dreams still linger here.

What am I searching for, what have I lost? Even my heart’s voice fades away. Deep in this creaking cage, I weep, Longing to fly, like a caged bird set free.

Though dawn feels so far away, I’ll reach out my hands to grasp the light. Beyond the broken sky above, Freedom calls, it calls to me. Even the pain transforms into wings.

In the mirror’s gaze, I find my eyes, Reflecting the truest version of me. The world seen through these narrow cracks, Waits for me as I search for the key.

What was stolen and scars I bear, I’ll burn them all within my heart. Tearing through this withered cage, I’ll rise, for weakness has no place here now.

Though dawn feels so far away, I’ll take trembling steps on this winding path. Collecting light from the fallen stars, Freedom sings, and I will sing. Even my tears will guide my way.

Every whisper of the dark, I will not flee, but ask aloud: Who am I? Where do I belong? The answers rest deep within my heart.

The dawn now lies so close ahead, An open door to a brighter future. No longer afraid of being hurt, Freedom waits, and I will soar. Through the skies of my soul, I’ll rise high.
