וַיַּעַשׂ יְיָ אֱלֹהִים לְאָדָם וּלְאִשְׁתּוֹ

כָּתְנוֹת עוֹר וַיְלַבְּשֵׁם

(וַיְלַבְּשֵׁם בְּרַחֲמָיו)

כִּי אָבַד הָאוֹר מִסְּבִיבוֹתֵינוּ

וְהַלֵּב נִשְׁאַר עָרוֹם

וּבְאַהֲבָה גְדוֹלָה בָּא לְכַסּוֹת

(בְּיַדָּיו עַצְמוֹ הוּא מַלְבִּישׁ)

לֹא מַלְאָךְ וְלֹא שָׂרָף

רַק הוּא מְכַסֶּה אֶת הַבּוּשָׁה

בְּרַחֲמָיו וּבְאַהֲבָתוֹ

וּמִכָּאן נִלְמַד לְכָל נֶפֶשׁ

שֶׁאָבְדָה אֶת אוֹרָהּ

שֶׁיֵּשׁ מִי שֶׁמְּכַסֶּה אוֹתָהּ בְּחֶמְלָה

(הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא עַצְמוֹ)

מֵקִים אוֹתָהּ מֵאֵפֶר

וְלוֹבֵשׁ אוֹתָהּ בְּכָבוֹד

When the light was gone from around us

and the heart stood bare and cold

(He came in mercy to clothe our soul)

He did not send an angel or a messenger

but with His own hands He covered us in love

From the dust He raised our spirit

(He wrapped us in forgiveness and grace)

He said, you are still Mine, My child

and even in your fall, I embrace you

for I created you to shine again

Even when we lose our light

He does not turn away

He weaves for us a garment of hope

made from compassion and faith

(He clothes us in kindness and restores our name)

When we walk in the dark of our shame

He walks beside us in silence

He does not judge, He builds again

the soul that trembles within

He whispers softly, “Rise and live”

And when the dawn appears anew

the soul remembers its crown

We are covered in His mercy

not to hide, but to begin again

(He clothes the heart with light)

So even in our brokenness

He is there, tender and near
