I saw her at the station with my old suitcase,

Wearing dreams I thought I'd lost without a trace.

She looked like me, but not quite the same —

A little less tired, a little more flame.

She didn’t flinch when the thunder came,

She smiled like she’d never learned my name.

But I knew her steps, I knew that face —

I watched her vanish into space.

Is she the me that never turned?

Did she keep what I let burn?

Does she live in colors I can't see —

The other me I’ll never be?

Does she dance when the world goes cold,

Sing with a voice I never told?

In some mirror, wild and free —

Is she dreaming now of me?

I saw her once at 2 AM

In a city I had left back then.

She ordered my favorite drink —

But laughed in a way I didn’t think.

She spoke with strangers, bold and bright,

Said things I only write at night.

She kissed the rain and stayed outside —

While I just watched the sky divide.

Is she the thread I didn’t chase?

The untouched lines on time’s face?

Does she wear the dress I let fade —

With all the plans I never made?

Does she fly when I lie low,

Run where I was scared to go?

In some version lost at sea —

Is she wondering about me?

She might not know I’m real at all,

Just a phantom behind a wall.

But some nights I feel her pull —

Like déjà vu, like something full.

Is she the life I never caught?

The fire I feared, the war I fought?

If she’s out there, let her know —

We both are pieces of the glow.

I won’t reach, I won’t erase —

Just let her orbit in her place.

But when I dream, I set her free —

The other me…

Still part of me.
