Bound in the Moonlight (Greek Poem)

Bound in the Moonlight (Greek Poem)

Cinematic Greek tragedy narration — ethereal female voice, whispered and emotional. Deep cello and lyre drones, slow orchestral build, ocean ambience, soft choirs, and distant thunder. Feels like a myth told by the sea. Key: D minor. Tempo: free-flowing, around 70 BPM.

EchoLiv·2:59

Lyrics

English translation

Once upon a time, two souls were born from the same star.

He, a son of fire.

She, a daughter of water.

And when their eyes met,

The world held its breath,

for destiny had already been written.

Beneath the silver gaze of the moon,

they swore that no dawn would ever part them.

But the gods envy love that knows no fear.

So they cast them into the sea of silence

to drown in each other’s arms,

to remain forever where light melts into the water.

They say that when the moon is full,

you can see their shadows dancing upon the waves.

They do not speak

for souls need no words.

Only their light intertwines,

like a breath before the dawn.

And each time two lovers meet,

the sea sighs a little deeper.

For it remembers the first ones

who drowned in their own love,

just to remain eternal

bound in the moonlight.
