We started as lovers in a high speed train

Leavin' Paris on our way to Spain

The ride was long and we talked a lot

We got so lost that we missed our stop

We tried to get off at the next town

The brakes went out and we were Spain bound

We stayed up late and I fell asleep

Woke up to the sound of a woman’s scream

The train was goin' too fast for me to stay on

So I climbed up to the roof and I was gone

She was sittin' on a beach with some suntan lotion

When a man came up out of the ocean

They walked down the beach and she laughed a lot

She got so lost that she missed her stop

She stayed up late

Drank a couple of shots

She fell in love with him on the spot

He said he’d call

She fell asleep

Woke up to the sound of a baby’s scream

Life was movin' too fast for her to stay on

So she walked out to the sea and she was gone
