Vivid dream misery
Opening with distorted, murky guitar and deep, brooding cello, layered under echoing electro beats and dark synths evocative of witch house. Raspy female vocals cut through a gothic, sludge-tinged atmosphere. Verses are sparse and folk-leaning; choruses thicken with experimental textures and reverb. The outro dissolves into eerie noise and bowed cello, leaving a lingering sense of tension.

Keep missing the train back home
Stranded and stuck falling on tracks
Like a rollercoaster that Twists and turns
Afraid I'll get run over and that will be the end of me
Oh wait there's another one
I can barely walk and get on
Keep moving but it's like I'm stuck in place
Everyone's moving and getting on
Even my son's ahead saying "mom come on, it's gonna take off"
He jumps on without me and
I miss it
Damn it I missed it again
Everyone's moving ahead
Jumping on and heading home
I'm stuck almost paralyzed now
Low to the ground slowly
Sliding on my belly like a snake
Yet another opportunity comes
Yell for help and someone tries to help me on
He does and I'm trying to grip on without falling off
Then realize I'm gripping onto to something above
Suddenly it moves and I'm down again
Lost it again
It's a place of false hope and despair
Yelling, crying and laying next to garbages of trash
Someone help me! and there's no one there
Who actually can
Am I in some type of hell?
I scream and cry get me out of here!
Everyone's moving ahead
Jumping on and heading home
I'm stuck lost paralyzed now
Low to the ground slowly
Sliding on my belly like a snake
I finally wake up realize it was just a dream
Thank you Lord Jesus
Thank you
It was just a dream
