### 🌸 The Story of Má-Lóng (麻龍) & Yún-Jīng (雲鯨)

In the late 1980s, during the golden age of Mandopop, a new duo emerged from Taiwan.
**Má-Lóng (麻龍)** — a warm, husky alto with playful strength, often compared to the charisma of Anita Mui or the emotional depth of Tsai Qin.
**Yún-Jīng (雲鯨)** — a fragile, dreamlike mezzo, echoing the intimacy of Teresa Teng yet carrying a youthful innocence of her own.

Together they sang like two spirits entwined — the dragon and the celestial whale. Their voices collided and embraced, unison and call-and-response, fire and water, earth and sky. Listeners felt as if they were eavesdropping on a secret conversation between myth and dream.

After winning a radio contest in Taipei, the duo released their only cassette album. It quickly became a cult favorite, but copies were few, and the songs faded into obscurity.

Then tragedy struck. One night, after a concert on the road to Kaohsiung, an accident silenced their voices forever. The group disbanded. The myth began.
