The year goes quiet in the rearview mirror,
like a road I’ve already crossed.
Some nights were heavy, some days were golden,
some wins, some lessons lost.

I carried doubts like old companions,
let a few moments slip away.
But every mile left something in me,
even the ones that made me stray.

Time never promised easy answers,
just a chance to move ahead.
And every ending leaves a window,
not just doors we never read.

So let it go, let it roll like thunder,
let it fade into the night.
What I was taught, what I survived,
is still walking by my side.

This year ends, but I’m still standing,
still believing, still alive.
I don’t mourn what’s in the distance,
I’m ready for the next sunrise.

Some faces turned into memories,
some fears finally let me go.
I learned my strength wasn’t in holding,
but knowing when to let things flow.

Not every dream was meant to stay here,
not every road was meant to bend.
Some were just signs along the highway,
pointing forward, not the end.

I stopped fighting every shadow,
started trusting where I stand.
The future isn’t something waiting,
it’s built slowly by my hands.
