so right before you publish your song, what you wanna do is make a copy of it that has a new creation date. you can do this in a number of ways:
you can do a fade on the very end of it
you can do a crop on the entire song, thus cropping out nothing
you can save it in studio
you can download it and then upload it
you can speed x1 it
on free accounts you can extend it with just "[end]" in the lyrics box and "end, ending" in your style prompt and it will sometimes just give you like a 2 second little silent bit, you can then click "get whole song" on that and the resulting complete song will be a fresh copy(with the extra 2 seconds or whatever) with an updated creation date
there are probably other ways, the point is, you want that date to be hot and fresh and then you wanna move fast
like the song(the fresh new copy), publish it, get on your alts and like the song, if you don't have alts, go start dropping likes on songs in the new songs list and shit like that but seriously just make one or two alts and drop the likes on the song

now new songs is kinda wonky and sometimes it takes quite awhile for your song to update and get pushed into the list and i am not sure exactly what determines this, if anybody has any helpful info about this feel free to drop a comment. but this will work and it will put your song in the list eventually
you get about an hour or so in the new songs list, and like everything else, a lot of fake engagement, people fly through and just bomb the list with likes to get likes back, just like trending.
but visibility is visibility and you get real shit too, and the better your song is from a general accessibility point of view the better it will do

pro tip:
get all your lyrics and cover art the way you want it before you make the copy, most of the copy methods(not download/upload) will preserve the lyrics and the cover art. however, if it is a video, you will have to reupload the video for the copy, as it will only copy over the first frame as a still image for your cover. also the copies do not copy the captions ever
