It’s really kinda crazy

Pictures and videos in the tens of thousands

My life recorded, but my memory is hazy

Looking back is so strange

What was it like to be there myself?

Now all I’ve got is an asset to show, post and send

It’s all of life’s contents… but I’m not sure I’m content…

Thousands of slices of cheesy pizza

Endless candids of my gorgeous dog Lyra

Selfies with friends, “been glad to meet ya”

What’s it all for?

I’m glad that I’ve kept it

But what’s it all for

If I can’t remember the stories and bits

The love that we felt inside

And the beauty that crept by

It feels like another life…

What was the cloud of experience actually like?

In my body?

In my soul?

Meetings with friends alone or together

Weddings and parties we’ve attended

Walks in the park and the New York City skyline

Improv and comedy and thoughts that I’ve extended…
