I remember the day truth found me.

Not religion.

Not tradition.

Truth.

I looked down at my plate

and couldn’t touch the pork.

and knew my life had to change.

And they laughed.

"This ain’t how we raised you."

And maybe she was right.

Because the man they raised

was dying.

And the man the Most High was building

couldn’t stay the same.

They laughed when I changed

Said I’d never stay

But truth called my name

And I walked anyway

When they turned away

I still held my faith

Lost it all that day

But I gained His name

Then came baptism.

Cold water.

Hot tears.

And years of sin

washed into memory.

I came up breathing different.

Praying different.

Walking different.

No more clubs.

No more lies.

No more chasing what was killing me slow.

I started building.

Prayer before sunrise.

Scriptures before work.

Fringes brushing my legs

while I labored all day

just to feed myself truth.

And every time they saw me—

they mocked harder.

"Hebrew boy."

"Fanatic."

"Cult man."

They made jokes at dinner

while I bowed my head and prayed.

Called me fake.

Said it was a phase.

Said I’d be back.

But they didn’t understand—

when the Most High changes a man

there is no going back.

through Christ can make.

And one day my father looked at me—

The same man who mocked me.

And said—

"Son... I was wrong."

And that was enough.

Not because I needed the apology.

But because truth had finally spoken louder than my words ever could.
