When the night feels heavy

And the road is hard to see

The God who formed the heavens

Placed His light inside your heart

You were never made for bondage

Never meant to live afraid

Love has broken every prison

Truth has rolled the stone away

Fear is not of God

Love is calling louder

Not to hide in doubt forever

Lift your eyes above the shadows

Hear His Spirit speak within

“Do not fear, I am with you”

And His peace will rise again

Fear may knock upon the doorway

But it does not own your soul

God has filled your life with power

And His love has made you whole

Many voices try to shake you

Fill your mind with anxious lies

Telling you that you are worthless

That your dreams have slowly died

But the Father of all mercy

Still speaks life into the weak

And the broken find their healing

When they hear His voice of peace

Every tear you cried in silence

Every battle deep within

God was there beside you always

Giving strength to rise again

Fear is not of God

Every mountain standing before you

Will fall down in His presence

Walk in hope and keep on shining

Let your life reveal His grace

For the God of all compassion

Has forever called your name

Fear is fading

Light is rising

Love is winning in your soul

And the peace of God surrounding you

Will never let you go
