I looked at the other participants — everyone’s insanely talented — and since the theme was quite open, I took inspiration from the original lyrics and mixed in the “soda pop” motif that others were playing with. That’s how the new lyrics came together, hahaha.
- As for the prompt, I didn’t overthink it — just blended what I already had with a few fresh twists.
