When Disco Was King (Classic Groove Mix)

Glitter balls spinning lights in the air

Dance floors packed yeah people don’t care

Platforms high and bell-bottoms swing

It was wild when disco was king

Packed to the walls and the bass hit right

You could lose yourself in a Saturday night

Hands in the air let the music ring

Oh the nights when disco was king

Nobody wanted the music to end

Those nights would go on forever

Everybody dance feel the groove

Can’t stand still gotta make that move

Love and rhythm to everything

Back in time when disco was king

Donna sang and Bee Gees did reign

With the beat there’s no room for pain

Soulful steps and the joy they’d bring

Disco nights oh what a glorious thing

Saturday nights felt like they’d last forever

We didn’t know what we had back then

That four-four beat and the joy it’d bring

The golden age when disco was king

Everybody dance feel the groove

Can’t stand still gotta make that move

Love and rhythm to everything

Back in time when disco was king
